The Godox AR400 is a high power flash that I primarily uses for photogrammetry. 

===== Usage =====

This flash is modified with a polarizing filter that can be cross polarized with a filter on the camera lens to create a diffuse reflection in images. This makes it optimal for photogrammetry because it ensures that the scan has the correct color (not a moving highlight) for the software to process.

To get optimal performance a matte black background should be used to prevent reflected light, that becomes un-polarized as it interacts with the backdrop, from hitting the scanned object. In an idealized scenario, the polarized flash would be the sole source of light in the image.,
