The Raptor is a scanner that combines NIR, laser, and full color scanning. It has a maximum accuracy of 0.2mm, but this is very dependent on setup quality and light conditions. I really like this scanner. It is quick and allows me to do basic reverse engineering as well as full color scanning. I have had the opportunity to use true metrology scanners from Hexagon and Shining 3D and this scanner definitely underperforms compared to $20k+ scanners, but hits heavy at its price point and runs well on my laptop.
Creality's tools are mostly aimed at the 3D printing space and even their top end tools are really just 'prosumer', not truly professional or intended to use in metrology applications even if they claim otherwise. I am really pushing this hardware to the max and then using reference measurements off of the final part to fully constrain the part. Eventually I would like to upgrade to an ISO compliant scanner from Hexagon.
