Polyphenylene sulfide [PSS] is a thermo plastic that can be used for 3D printing. PPS-CF is carbon fiber reinforced. PPS-CF has exceptional stiffness at temperatures up to 250℃ with a flexural modulus similar to dried nylon. One of the advantages of PPS over Nylon is that it is not sensitive to moisture so the stiffness does not decrease with time. Another key advantage of PPS is that it is very resistant to solvents and is somewhat fire-retardant.
