Mixing
Mold Max 40 should be mixed at 100A:10B by weight and degassed before pouring.
Experience
The pot time is a bit of a theoretical number. This material begins thickening immediately and remains “pourable” for about 40 minutes depending on ambient temperature. Pouring becomes more difficult as time goes on because of the thickening. My suggestion would be degassing for no more than 20 minutes and pouring in about 5 minutes. At the 30 minute mark, which is the listed pot time, the silicone is already noticeably thicker and harder to pour without trapping bubbles.
I highly recommend ensuring that the silicone has time to acclimate to a warm room temperature before mixing and pouring. Taking it from a colder storage place and immediately using it will delay the cure, making it take longer than 24 hours. For the same reason the finished pour should be kept in the warm environment instead of being allowed to cool in the winter. The listed pot and cure times are based on a room temperature of 73 °F.
